The Criminal Law Department at EBAME & Associats comprises a large team of professionals with extensive experience in protecting clients’ interests in all situations related to Criminal Law and Proceedings.

Our approach to each case, in both defence and prosecution, comprises the analysis and study of the existing possibilities, judicial or extrajudicial, or negotiation, and always opting for the one which is of greater benefit to the interests of the client.

• Crimes against the Treasury, Crimes against Social Security, Accounting crimes.
• Crimes related to Patent or Intellectual Property Rights
• Crimes related to Environmental Issues and Planning and Development Issues.
• Breaches of right to honour, privacy and personal image, misrepresentation, crimes against the public administration and the judicial system, perversion of the course of justice, Crimes against the constitution, riot, public disorder, breach of the peace, insurrection, treason, crimes against human rights, crimes against the international community.
• Computer and Internet-related crimes: Identity Theft, Hacking, Cracking, Tampering, Unauthorised access, Denial of service attacks, E-mail bombing, spamming, Domain hijacking, Crimes against patent rights, intellectual property rights, and trademarks; Crimes against personal and collective privacy: Disclosure of secrets, Disclosure of personal information, Sniffing, Spoofing, libel, slander, Threats, coercion, Internet fraud, Phishing, Pharming.
• Processing of suspensions of enforcement of sentences, commutations, and pardons.

We also offer legal assistance and defense on driving offences and on crimes against the road traffic security, including criminal speeding, driving under the effects of alcoholic drinks (DUI – DWI) and withdrawal of driving licenses.

Likewise, we process lawsuits and claims derived from traffic accidents
